  • Check condensor, clean coils.
  • Check air filters, wash if permanent.
  • Check blower components:
  • Adjust belt, recommend replacement if necessary.
  • Check belt and blower alignment.
  • check blower bearings.
  • Check condensate drain, clean if necessary.
  • Check for proper drainage and water leaks.
  • Check Thermostat calibartion:
  • Insure all wires are tight.
  • Insure system shuts off.
  • Insure thermostat mounted properly.
  • Check safety controls where applicable.
  • Crankcase heater working.
  • Pressure Controls working:
  • Lubricate all moving parts:
  • Bearings.
  • Motors.
  • Pumps.
  • Check all electrical connections:
  • Compressor.
  • Evaporator motor.
  • Condensor motor.
  • All controls.
  • Check starting capabilities:
  • Run through two cycles.
  • Leave thermostat set as owner requests.
  • Check voltage & amperage on motors:
  • Evaporator motor amp draw.
  • Condensor motor amp draw.
  • All wire connections tight.
  • Check proper refrigerant charge:
  • Temperature drop across.
  • Temperature drop correct.
  • House balanced correctly.
  • Final job review:
  • Tighten all nuts & screws.
  • Replace all missing screws.
  • Check for any tools left on job.
  • Inspect job cleanliness inside & out.
  • Thermostat sticker.
  • Furnace Sticker.
  • Paperwork.
